Artist CV

I am a multidisciplinary Artist. I make video work, music/songs and produce drawings and sculpture. I employ automatic techniques to achieve a surrealist quality of style. My subject matter is eclectic but at the centre I focus on the interpersonal dynamics of my family. I am also interested in animal qualities personified and therefore often refer to behaviour patterns demonstrated in the animal world that relate to my personal life experiences.

The Booth of Truth Project

My husband and I run a small vinyl record label entitled Pearl Home Records. We release material of our own songs, poems and sound art. We make the vinyl and art work ourselves. We also release spoken word, music and sound art by local artists. As part of Pearl Home Records we also operate as a travelling installation record lathe entitled The Booth of Truth. We cut straight to disc and participants can take the record away with them.
